Who owns Betway in 2026

Super Group on the New York tape. Betway is the sports word. Spin is the casino stack. Africa and International are how they now file the accounts.

Betway is not a listed company. The listed company is Super Group (SGHC) Limited, on the New York Stock Exchange, holding company registered in Guernsey. The 2026 group site still sells two consumer names: Betway the sportsbook, and Spin the casino stack. That is the map. Everything else is a local licence or a sister skin.

From the first quarter of 2026 Super Group stopped reporting those two names as the official segments. Filings now split the business into Africa and International. Africa was already close to half of net revenue on that first-quarter print. The brands did not change. The accounts did.

The sports name

Betway is the single global sports brand. Casino sits on the same word. Official copy still says one Betway, not a family of Betway Casinos with different owners. Country sites are local licences under that name:

Those files are not separate public companies. They are how Super Group shows up where a local licence is the door. Nigeria push in 2026 is the same pattern: local brand-building on the Betway word, not a new parent.

The Spin stack

Ontario (2022) licensed four of those names through a subsidiary, Cadtree Ltd: Spin Casino, Jackpot City, Royal Vegas, Ruby Fortune. Same parent. Different door.

What is not a Betway book

Supercoin, on the same brands page, is a rand stablecoin. It is not a sportsbook. The group homepage has flashed Hippodrome and Amazon Slots. Those names are not on the official brands list as owned consumer books, so they are not treated as Betway sisters on this index.

Super Group International and Super Group Africa are how the 2026 about-page splits the operating map. They are not extra betting shops.

What this desk still does not have

A named board on every African licence file. Direct phones and complaint emails from a fresh scan of each Spin skin. BetKing is still a thin “Super Group / BetKing reporting” line — it is not on the 2026 brands page, so it is not promoted into the sister list until Super Group prints it there.

The Betway company file now carries this map. Traffic still does not move the ring.
