Entain plc. Sportingbet was an AIM-listed pioneer acquired (with William Hill participating in a split of assets) and later folded fully into GVC/Entain. Today it is Entain's leading sports brand in several South American markets.

Founded by Mark Blandford in 1998 and one of the first publicly listed online bookmakers. After US enforcement pressure in the late 2000s the group was broken up; the surviving brand is Entain's LatAm-facing sportsbook.
